HOUSEWIVES

Previously, I barely used to give importance to the housewives thinking that they do nothing but backbiting. And I do not apologise for that, please. Housewife, as the word indicates house+wife, no earning, no respect- oops, isn’t it? Well, throughout all these passing years, I have observed my close friends, many of them are housewives too, that the work they do and the routine they follow 24x7 without a single crinkle on their foreheads is commendable. They never ever made any complaints on that, which is really appraisable. Even kids want their mother, yes, especially mother, to be with them, not only financially but most importantly, emotionally. Having said that, I have felt that loneliness when I would open my house with keys all alone after school since my mother was a working woman. Being emotionally attached and full support of parents are the best things God can bestow on kids. So, dear ladies, if you are housewives, you are doing world’s most privileged job (only a woman and a mother can do it) without pay or a single leave, be proud of it.

HINDUTVA

A day before yesterday I watched PM Narendra Modi, which is an OK movie; but my focus was on the teachings of Sangh (RSS) which were imbibed by our present PM. Well, if we talk about people who often blame RSS or BJP as extremist, we see that they are really unaware of the fact that we are tolerant by nature. I am proud to be a member of a religion which beliefs in the idea of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'- i.e. the world is a family, it is the only religion the believers of which say at the end of every yagya-ritual 'Vishv ka Kalyan ho' (May the world prosper). We do not call the followers of other religions Kafirs or abuse those who do not have faith in Hindutva. We are proud Hindus who have sheltered Parsis and others, who were the victims of Muslim tyranny.  I am proud to belong to a religion which has taught the world both tolerance and universal acceptance. We believe not only in universal tolerance, but we recognize all religion as different paths leading to the same God. I am proud to belong to a religion which has sheltered the persecuted and the refugees of all religions and all nation on the earth. Hindutva is cultural nationalism, there is no word called Hinduism; there is no “ism” in Hindu. I am Hindu and I am secular by nature. I have been Hindu for 10000 years. I have sustained 1000 years of invasion, loot, murders, demolition of temples and I have tolerated, withstood, and assimilated all the foreign influences; it's because I am secular by nature. Being a Hindu is synonymous with being secular. People who call themselves as “Liberal or Secular” are themselves misguided, hence, misleading us.
Can Muslim boast of the same? What ISIS has done to Yezidi and their Shia brethren in the name of Islam is before the world- Has any follower of Islam ever come forward to condemn such barbarous acts?
अहिंसा परमो धर्मः,धर्महिंसा तथैव च (a Sanskrit phrase of Mahabharat); which means  Non-violence is the ultimate dharma. So too is violence in service of Dharma. RSS follows this and I am proud of it.
Now, you are howling peace every now and then. Why? Many of you had given long speeches against Modi- Yogi and against RSS during elections and had blamed him (Modi) of being an extremist?  But no matter how loud you shout a lie, it does not become a fact. Where were liberals- when Hindus were being butchered, looted and raped in Kashmir? I have never heard a word from the so-called seculars against such heinous crimes perpetrated by Jihadis. We learn from our history. We never attack first but surgical strikes are the powerful answer of heinous crimes committed against our brave soldiers.
For powerful country, we need a powerful Leader i.e. Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Jihad and Yogi-Modi can’t be compared; they are poles apart, what jihadis are doing the world over is chaos, murder, loot, rape. Has anyone witnessed such scenes in India other than in Kashmir which again, is an act of Jihadis?

Daughter of the nation

Smriti Irani- Inspite of her incomplete formal higher education (though education in its true sense is beyond degrees), she has spunk and courage to be dauntless and focused. I respect her and the reason behind this is that she has been facing numerous allegations and mud-slinging every now and then but her enormous figure stood tall each time. She is a knowledge bucket and better educated than many who hold multiple degrees. I, as a woman and a citizen, am proud of her.
